Komité Ayiti, Inc. (KAI), is a Haitian grassroots organization geared towards providing programs connecting the community to educational, social, and cultural resources that promote and support community development within the greater Baltimore area.

Founded in 2016​, Komité Ayiti, Inc., advocates for the Haitian community and serves as a link to resources in the Baltimore area and abroad.

Our mission is to:

• Conduct mission trips to provide disadvantaged Haitians with opportunities for growth so that they may become independent citizens able to contribute to their communities and support themselves and their families.

• Collect and distribute donations of money, clothing, school supplies, food, and living necessities to provide to address major health, legal, academic, infrastructure, and socio-economic issues affecting Haitians in the U.S. and abroad

• Educate the community about the Haitian culture to help eradicate the stereotypes of Haitian people and culture. Activities include educational series, Haitian creole classes, Haitian Independence Day and Haitian Flag Day celebrations, Haitian Caribbean Festival and many more.​
