Komité Ayiti is a grassroots organization geared towards connecting the Haitian community to educational, social and cultural resources within the greater Baltimore area and abroad.
Founded in 2016, Komité Ayiti advocates for the Haitian community and serves as a link to resources in the Baltimore area and abroad.
Our mission is to
Conduct missions trips to provide disadvantaged Haitians with opportunities for growth so that they may become independent citizens able to contribute to their communities and support themselves and their families.
Collect and distribute donations of money, clothing, school supplies, food, and living necessities to provide to address major health, legal, academic, infrastructure and socio-economic issues affecting Haitians in the U.S. and abroad
Educate the Baltimore county about the Haitian culture to help eradicate the stereotypes of Haitian people. Activities include free educational series, creole classes
Provide free health and professional development workshops
